Feeling the Love of Jesus Christ,
I think I've never been closer to understanding the Love of God and our savior Jesus Christ for us. Sitting in the darkness of night with two sick children. Holding them. Singing to them. Massaging them all through the night. That is what our savior does for us and more. We are His sick and weary children. But He never leaves our side. No matter our sickness, no matter the darkness of the night. He sits with us, holds us, sings peace to our hearts and brings the light of the dawn.

Sleepless nights
So I think the treatment my two Lyme patients received was too much for their system today. They have both been throwing up tonight. We will see what the morning brings and hopefully they will get to sleep. Here's praying and hoping.
Just as I wrote that I thought one was calling in pain from the bath here at 1:06 am. But no, she was just singing. I'm taking that as a positive sign.

You are doing God's work
“You are doing God's work. You are doing it wonderfully well. He is blessing you, and He will bless you, --even--no, -especially--when your days and your nights may be most challenging. Like the woman who anonymously, meekly, perhaps even with hesitation and some embarrassment, fought her way through the crowd just to touch the hem of the Master's garment, so Christ will say to the women who worry and wonder and weep over their responsibility as mothers, `Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole.' And it will make your children whole as well.”
